"Jingle"

Jingle came to stay with us when she was 3 mo. old . I brought her home, after a visit with Gayle Garvin, Garvin Pembroke and Cardigan Welsh Corgis, at her home in Centertown, MO, for some socialization and "show" training.  Of course, in short order we fell in love with her. So, after having shown her to her Championship, with many exciting wins along the way, we purchased Jingle from Gayle.

At the 1999 PWCCA National Specialty she won the very large 6-9 puppy class under esteemed Judge Anne Rodgers Clark then was BEST PUPPY under Breeder Judge Ms. Glenda Cook, Westglen PWC of Austraila  The following year, 2000,  she returned to the National as a Champion and received a Selection of Merit  under breeder Judge Mary Magnus, Pemland PWC of England.

We bred her to New Zealand import, Ch. Dwynella Take a Chance owned by Mary Greenwood and Dede Rodgers, Greenwood PWC.  From this litter came Ch. Springmills All Shook Up (see Boys) and Ch. Springmills Love Me Tender (see below).

She returned to the show ring in Feb. and received an Award of Merit at the Palmetto PWC Club Specialty under breeder Judge Ms. Anneli Sutela, Annline PWC of Finland.

Jingle was bred to Am. Can. Ch. Hum'nbird Nathaniel Hawthorne. "Nathan" is co-owned by Mary Elizabeth Simpson (Windcrest) and Cathy Santarsiero.  He was bred by Carrie Chase (Hum'nbird). Jingle has now been spayed  and is living the good life with us here at Springmill Corgis. We hope to show her some as a veteran.

"Ally"

Ally is co-bred and co-owned with Pam Hudson, Calloway PWC and lives with us.

 She is out of a Jamie (see Boys)  daughter.

 Ally  had a fun beginning to her show career, winning the Bred by Exhibitor Class at the the Palmetto PWC Club Specialty under breeder Judge Ms.  Anneli Sutela, Annline PWC of Finland  and she was only 10 mo. old. At two of the shows following the Specialtay in Spartanburg Ally was Reserve Winners bitch under Breeder Judge Larry Adams, Gaylord PWC and breeder Judge Terry Hansen Mitchell, Pinemeade PWC. On March 15th at the OVPWCC Specialty Ally received Reserve Winners under Breeder Judge Joan Jensen, Martindale PWC. She had 4 Major Reserves to her credit at a young age and should have an exciting show career. Ally was Winners Bitch at the back to back Fort St. Clair shows under Mr. Gerald Schwartz and Breeder Judge Diane Sprung. Wildefox PWC.  Ally was Winners Bitch at the Delaware Ohio KC Oct. 23. 2004. She has 11 points.

Ally finished her Championship with back to back majors Dec 11 & 12th . She completed her Championship under Breeder Judge Larry Adams "Gaylord" .

Ally is the main couch potato here at Springmill Corgis!

She is most definitely Mike's girl!

"Mia"

Mia is our latest hopeful. She is the singleton puppy out of our Buttercup (see more of our corgis and sired by Elvis (see boys). She's pictured at 8mo. She was BEST PUPPY at the OVPWCC match September 2, 2006 under breeder Judge Brenda Stiles, "Brynlea".   We will keep an update on her progress. 

Mia received 3rd in both her sweeps class under Australian breeder Gloria Woodward "Aberlee" and  regular class under Australian breeder Judge JoAnne McCann, JoPearl in very competitive competition at the Lakeshore Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club's Specialty

Mia  received 4th in her 9-12mo. regular class  under Judge Rutledge Parker "Happiharbor" at the 2006 PWCCA National in Rohnert Park CA.

"Sera"

Sera is our latest hopeful.  She and several of her littermates should start their show careers this fall and winter. She looks quite promising.

Sera was awarded a 4th in her 6-9 mo. sweeps class under Judge Carrie Chase "Humn'bird" and a 3rd in her regular class under Judge Rutledge Parker " Happiharbor" at the 2006 PWCCA National in Rohnert Park CA.

Sera started 2007 in grand style. with a  Best of Opposite Sex in Sweepstakes February 15th at the Palmetto Corgi Club Specialty under Judge Feli Noeller "Perivale"
and at the Spartanburg KC show Feb. 17 under Breeder Judge Patty Gailey "Triad" she took a major RESERVE WINNERS BITCH . Then at the Greater Houston PWC Club's Specialty Sera was awarded BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES under Breeder Judge Willys Treanor MD "Byendebrok" and WINNERS BITCH and  BEST OF OPPOSITE SEX under Breeder Judges Mrs. Joan Gibson Reid "Jade Tree" for her first major.

In March it was off to the Ohio Valley Pembroke Welsh Corgi Specialty were she was again awarded BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES under Breeder Judge Sue Neave "Faerietale" and WINNERS BITCH, BEST OF WINNERS & BEST PUPPY under Breeder Judge Rutledge Parker "Happiharbor" for a 5 point major! Then it was back to Texas where she   was awarded her 3rd BEST IN SWEEPSTAKES at the North Texas Pembroke Welsh Corgi Club's 2007 Specialty under Breeder Judge Teresa Blackstad "Colburn"
